Præsentation

His research combines Managerial Economics, Accounting, Finance and Investment with Sociology and Institutional Theory. This interdisciplinary curiosity focuses on the ability to model, calculate and optimize various financial business issues and to debate and reflect upon their role in organizations and society.

Carsten Ørts Hansen is an experienced organizer of co-operation between CBS and the business community, including funding and managing research projects. Before joining CBS he was employed by Deloitte and KPMG and at CBS he is the co-founder of the maritime research platform CBS Maritime focusing on the maritime industry. CBS Maritime involves researchers and educational activities across departments at CBS as well as participants in the industry. The research activities are funded by the industry, public organizations and CBS.
