Fashion historian visits CBS
Professor Regina Blaszczyk from the University of Leeds visits CBS on 4 May and gives her presentation based on a new book called Fashionability: Abraham Moon and the creation of British clothing for the global market. She conducts research on the cultural history of business in relation to design, fashion, colour, retailing and advertising. Until 2015, she was associate editor of the journal called Journal of Design History and worked as a cultural history curator in the museum sector. Her work connects the history of the creative industries with major historical themes including globalisation, materialism and social identity in addition to consumer culture. The Centre of Business History at CBS has arranged the event.
