Award-winning Harvard professors visit CBS
Internationally renowned researchers in economics and law meet at CBS for the conference “Contract law and economics in the next hundred years”. Several of the keynotes have participated in creating a theoretical breakthrough which is going to impact the next hundred years of contract law and economics. An essential theme of the conference is justice and good faith, which have assumed completely new roles within the field. Meet Professor of Economics at Harvard University Oliver Hart and Matthew Rabin, Professor of Behavioral Economics at Harvard Business School.

Meet CBS at Folkemødet - the People's Political Festival 2017
Researchers at CBS will leave their office for a while and go to the People's Political Festival on Bornholm and meet up with politicians, NGOs and curious citizens during a weekend in June. CBS will participate in 22 events this year, involving debates on green energy production, voluntary work, resilience in the banking industry and robots.

Top US economist visits conference on pension
How do individuals change consumption behaviour around the time of retirement? What are the arguments for active vs. passive investment strategies in pension funds? These are some of the questions high-profile representatives from the Danish Financial Supervisory Authority, the Danish pension sector and academics will discuss on 20 June. They meet on the occasion of the annual conference arranged by the The Pension Research Centre (PeRCent) at CBS. US top economist from MIT James Poterba will talk about “The challenges of retirement saving in a low-return environment”. CBS professors Lasse Heje Pedersen and Jesper Rangvid are also among the speakers.

Stories from health care students' innovation projects
Since last summer, students have worked with innovation projects in start-ups and larger companies within the health sector. The projects emerge from the new programme ’’MSc in Innovation in Health Care (IHC)’’. On 7 June the students will present their projects. Staff and stakeholders from the new master programme will also be present.

Join CBS' centenary celebration
On 10 June, CBS will throw a big summer party on the occasion of the centenary. The party takes place at the outdoor grass area between Solbjerg Plads and the Wedge, and there will be plenty of things to do for children and grown-ups. Apart from staff and students at CBS, citizens of Frederiksberg have been invited to join the festivities. The programme includes Outlandish, Opera Frederiksberg, and Science Slam with Danish stand-up comedian Lasse Rimmer. Magician Miguel El Zorro will do a magic show for the kids.
Participation is free and registration is not needed.

Workshop: Data changes power structures
Why is data such a valuable resource to a company? How is data able to change the power structures in the supply chain of a company? Join a workshop about data-driven projects organised by the research project "From Big Data to Big Business". The target group is industrial companies.
