Journalist Frederik Obermaier presents: PANAMA PAPERS

The story behind the biggest leak in the world starts one late evening with an anonymous email. The information that gives an insight in a previously secret parallel world packed with hundreds of letterbox companies established in tax havens all over the world, paralyze the two journalists from the biggest morning newspaper in Germany, Süddeutsche Zeitung, Bastian Obermayer and Frederik Obermaier. Frederik Obermaier will give a presentation of the two’s book, Panama Papers.

Danish agriculture’s regulations and competitiveness

How is the competitiveness of Danish agriculture affected by the regulations it is subject to, compared to our neighbouring countries? Associate Professor Troels Troelsen from Department of Operations Management at CBS presents his studies where he among other things has looked at what economic consequences the restrictions on fertilizer, Danish farmers must abide, have – and whether they actually have an effect.

FRIC’16 Conference on Financial Frictions will focus on banking and money markets

This year’s FRIC Conference will put banking and money markets in focus and once again, the conference will present keynote speakers from the top of their field. CBS hosts the fourth conference in collaboration with the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), the Center for Financial Frictions (FRIC) and the ERC project FRICTIONS at the Department of Finance.
