One of the major founders of Human Resource Management (HRM) in Denmark is Henrik Holt Larsen, Professor at CBS, whose outstanding work is celebrated at the conference.

Henrik has been part of the establishment of HRM in Denmark and the development of the HRM programme at CBS and is in fact the first and one of the only HR professors in Scandinavia. We wish to honour his efforts and discuss the development within the field", says Frans Bevort, Assistant Professor at CBS and co-organiser of the conference titled "Human Resource Management - from news to full-blown reality".

HRM had a Danish breakthrough in the 1980s and has since played an important part in organisational management. Besides conducting research and teaching, Henrik Holt Larsen has played an expert role to managers, HR specialists and the general public in Denmark.

At the conference on 12 January, a number of other HRM experts will talk about the future of HRM in terms of research, but also in practice.

The speakers include Christopher Brewster, Professor at Henley Business School, who, like Henrik Holt Larsen, initiated the Cranet Survey, an international HRM research project.

The conference is for everyone who is interested in HRM research and practice and takes place at Ovnhallen, Porcelænshaven 20, 2000 Frederiksberg from 14-17.

It will be possible to meet Henrik Holt Larsen at the following reception.
