For the majority of CBS’ 19 bachelor programmes the GPAs have risen in comparison to 2015. 12 programmes have a higher GPA this year compared to last year, five a lower GPA and two remain unchanged. The BSc in Business, Language and Culture has experienced one of the largest increases, from 8.4 to 9.1. One likely reason is that this programme is one of the few in Copenhagen where students can study business administration in combination with French, German or Spanish.

Even though the GPA for BSc in International Business is high, and the highest at CBS, it is actually one of the five programmes that experienced a drop compared to 2015. In 2015 a GPA of 12.3 was required to get in, while the GPA this year is 12.2. The GPA has fallen even though the number of applicants for the BSc in International Business rose by 15% this year. However, the increase in applicants was in quota 2, where applicants are selected based not just on their grades, but also on an overall assessment.

One of the more conspicuous drops was for BA i Engelsk og Oragnisationskommunikation, which required a GPa of 8.5 compared to last year’s 8.9.

CBS would like to admit the most motivated and well-qualified students every year. As a result, students are also admitted via quota 2, which allows multiple factors to play a role in the selection process.

No Available Study Places
CBS has no available study places. All places are taken and CBS has had to reject about 4,000 applicants, many of whom were qualified but who unfortunately could not be admitted due to the limited availability of places.
