Alexandra is an open-minded person interested in socio-economic impact of digital platforms as well as new business models in post-corona society. Her scientific curiosity is driven by a need to develop new toolkits for current economic conditions called new norm. She graduated with a Master of Finance from University of Freiburg, Germany.
She is participating in an interdisciplinary DIREC research project HERD (Human-Multi-Robot Interaction in Search & Rescue and in Agriculture). In short, the project addresses how an operator can engage and control multiple autonomous robots. The research focus is on two use cases of industrial partners a) search and rescue operation with multiple autonomous Unmanned Aerial Vehicles and b) multi-robot field operations. My contribution is to understand the potential of platformization for the use cases with a particular emphasis on platform governance.
