I am an Associate Professor of Strategy and Entrepreneurship at the Department of Strategy and Innovation.

My main research interests are in the areas of strategy, entrepreneurship and innovation. In particular, I aim to understand: i) the role of investors – in particular corporate - in new ventures’ strategic and technological development and their performance implications ii) the role of strategic human capital in explaining productivity outcome of individuals and organizations (i.e. patenting activities, knowledge flows) Specifically, I study topics such as: corporate venture capital, inter-organizational labor mobility, knowledge flows, new venture technology strategy and performance, impact investing. My research has been published in top academic outlets in the strategy, innovation and entrepreneurship areas.

I received a PhD in Management Science from ESADE Business School, a MSc. in Business and Administration and a BA in Economics and Business from Bocconi University. I spent several years at Georgetown University at McDonough School of Business as PhD student and faculty in the Strategy area. Before starting an academic career, I worked as consultant for McKinsey & Co. and for Accenture Strategy in the Management Consulting and Financial Markets division; also I had experience in UNICEF as fundraising strategy associate and strategic analyst. I am also a Research Associated at Nordic Human Capital Advisory, an economic and strategy consultant and a former entrepreneur.
