Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility (cbsCSR)
cbsCSR is one of Europe’s top-class research environments pertaining to issues of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and is one of the largest international centres of its kind. The Centre consists of approximately 27 researchers, 10 research assistants and 4 adjunct professors; Susanne Stormer, Peter Pruzan, Ed Freeman and Mads Øvlisen – who all, contribute actively to the Centre’s activities. Moreover, we have numerous international guests joining the Centre as visiting professors and guest PhDs.
Founded in 2002 by Mette Morsing, Peter Pruzan and Steen Vallentin, cbsCSR brings together a strong interdisciplinary network of international researchers in order to fulfill its mission of conducting research, teaching and outreach activities in the fields of CSR, sustainability, and business ethics and how these concepts influence corporations and society today.
cbsCSR has been the driving force behind several initiatives such as: UN Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) (2008), the Sustainability Platform (2011), the student organization WELL, today called 360 degrees, and the Scandinavian Centre for Corporate Sustainability (2013).
