I have been professor of business history at CBS since 2002. Before that I was professor of modern Danish history at the University of Southern Denmark. My main areas of interests are financial history with a particular emphasis on financial and banking crisis and modern Danish furniture. I am also interested in entrepreneurship and organizational culture, identity and change in historical perspective. I am president elect of the Business History Conference and a council member of the European Business History Association. I have been a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley, Rutgers University, Harvard Business School, and Stern School of Business.
