Presentation

I am Professor (MSO) in International Business at the Department of International Economics, Government and Business, Copenhagen Business School. My research is at the intersection of international business, innovation and technological change. One line of research investigates R&D and innovation in multinational enterprises (MNEs). Current work investigates MNEs’ strategies for technological diversification as well as R&D resource commitment. Another line of research, relates to the international diffusion of technologies. This includes work on technological upgrading of emerging economies, digital sustainability technologies as well as hydrogen technology. I was Visiting Fellow at the John H. Dunning Centre for International Business at the University of Reading (United Kingdom). Currently, I am member of the international research network on the "Dynamics of Innovation Systems” funded by the German Science Foundation (Germany).
