Presentation

Dennis earned his PhD from the Bauhaus University of Weimar (Germany) and his habilitation from the University of Zurich (Switzerland). His current research interests focus on how communicative practices get institutionalized and co-constitute organizational phenomena (from the most rudimentary to the full-fledged exemplars). His research has been published in the Academy of Management Review, Human Relations, Journal of Management Inquiry, Journal of Management Studies, Management Communication Quarterly, or Organization Studies, amongst others. He is a co-initiator of the new EGOS Standing Working Group "Organization as Communication" (2015-2018) - together with Tim Kuhn (University of Colorado at Boulder), Francois Cooren (Université de Montréal), and Consuelo Vasquez (UQAM Montréal).
