    Andreas Rasche has joined us from Warwick Business School and has taken up the position as ‘Professor in Business in Society’.

    His research relates to standards and standardization in the sustainability field (e.g. FLA, FSC, SA 8000), with a special focus on the role of these initiatives in global governance processes.

    Andreas has also done work on the UN Global Compact and UN-business relations in general, and collaborated with the UNGC on various projects in this context.

    He usually works with perspectives related to organizational sociology and philosophy (e.g. Habermasian thinking and also institutional and practice-based theories).

    Jonathan Murphy has joined us from Cardiff Business School and will be with us as guest researcher for the next 11 months.

    As an academic, Jonathan focuses on the intersection between management and international development, and has conducted research in Europe, Africa, and Asia.

    Over the past 15 years, Jonathan has provided expert advice to parliaments throughout Africa and Asia, as well as conduct major reviews and policy development for the United Nations and the European Union.

    Agnes Nassuna Kasirye from Makerere University Business School (Uganda) and Mulenga Nkula from University of Zambia joined us as guest PhDs.

    They are both part of the ‘Youth and Employment Project - The Role of Entrepreneurship in African Economies’ (YEMP) along with Søren Jeppesen and Thilde Langevang from ICM.

    The purpose of their stay is to work on their projects with Thilde and Søren as supervisors as well as participation in PhD Courses and meetings.

    University of Copenhagen is also a partner and have two PhD students staying with them.

    Elise Serra Lind Jacobsen joined us as cbsCSR centre manager as well as project manager of the Responsible Business in the Blogosphere project. Elise is a graduate of CBS, MSc in Business, Language and Culture and has previously been part of the CBDS group as a research assistant. Over the years, she has gained hands on experience in the CSR field while working with Global CSR, CSR Europe and the Save the Children organization.

     

     

  • David Peter Rwehikiza, Japhet Gabriel Mbura and Mutale Mwango joins us as guest PhDs. They are all part of the SAFIC project (Successful African Firms and Institutional Change) that investigates how and why African firms are able to be successful in changing business and institutional environments. Søren Jeppesen, Thilde Langevang, Michael W. Hansen and Lotte Thomsen are also part of the project and they will work with our guests during their stay at ICM.

    André Spicer will be visiting us from 29 August and staying for the month of September.

    He is Professor of Organisational Behavior at Cass Business School, City University London and his research focuses on organizational power and politics, identity, the creation of new organizational forms, space and architecture plays at work and more recently leadership.

    Mia Olsen joins ICM from the Department of IT-Management as a PhD fellow.

    Sudhanshu Rai will be her supervisor on the project ‘Innovating Wallets – The Transformation of the Physical Wallet into the Mobile Wallet’.
