Nobel Laureate Lars Peter Hansen to speak at the FRIC’15 conference

The third international FRIC conference takes place on August 24-25, 2015 at Copenhagen Business School and this year the Nobel Laureate Prof. Lars Peter Hansen is among the star speakers

The FRIC Center will host its third international conference on financial frictions, FRIC’15 Conference on Efficiently Inefficient Markets on August 24-25, 2015. This year, the conference features as keynote speakers: Darrell Duffie, Stanford University, Professor Lars Peter Hansen, University of Chicago and Nobel Laureate, Arvind Krishnamurthy, Graduate School of Business, Stanford University and Robert F. Stambaugh, Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Besides these prominent names, the participants at the FRIC’15 conference will also hear other internationally known speakers presenting their latest research on asset pricing, asset management, and frictions in efficiently inefficient markets.

“The FRIC’15 conference promises to be a very exciting exchange of some of the newest and most important ideas in finance. The line-up of speakers is amazing and illustrates how our center is becoming a global finance hotspot”, says one of the organizers, Prof. Lasse Heje Pedersen.

Lars Peter Hansen is a David Rockefeller Distinguished Service Professor at the University of Chicago and in 2013 he received the Bank of Sweden Prize in Economic Sciences in Honor of the Memory of Alfred Nobel for his seminal research in econometrics.
