In January 2016 CBS Economics Department Professor Ralf Wilke worked out a conference contribution issued by Statistics Denmark. The conference contribution - Forecasting Macroeconomic Labour Market Flows: What Can We Learn from Micro Level Analysis - suggests and compares alternative approaches that employ individual level statistical analysis to predict labour market flows, taking the number of exits out of unemployment benefits as an example.
