Competitiveness

Partnerships and external engagement

To involve all our stakeholders is of utmost importance. The platform is actively engaged in companies and organizations in different formats for collaboration and partnerships. Below you can read more about our partnerships and external engagements.

Working with companies and organizations

It is a key ambition of the Competitiveness platform to disseminate CBS’ knowledge about the competitiveness of Danish firms into society. One way the platform has chosen to do so is by meeting top management of many Danish firms and iterating the ways in which their company can benefit from the knowledge at CBS. The industry has welcomed this collaboration initiative, and the Competitiveness platform’s activities span wide. From bringing companies closer to CBS Career Gate, where companies can recruit students for projects and internships as well as for writing Master Theses, to collaborating with CBS through the MADE-initiative (Manufacturing Academy of Denmark) and setting up industrial PhD’s. More specifically, our activities include the collaboration with following companies: Aasted, Schneider Electric, Vink Plast, Nkt Photonics, Ekspres Bank, Brenntag Nordic, CO-RO and Mærsk Leadership Development, Arla Foods, Kurhotel Skodsborg and there are more to come. Don't hesitate to contact us to find out how the Competitiveness platform can help your company.

Advisory Board:
The CBS Competitiveness Platform is currently working on establishing an Advisory Board with Danish and international members. The role as a member of the platform Advisory Board includes being advisor and sounding board to the two academic directors regarding activities, evaluations, networking and recruitments. Here we will announce who have accepted our invitation to become member of our Advisory Board.

Partnerships:

Affiliated faculty
The CBS Competitiveness Platform is establishing and will continuously develop a network of faculty members who in some way – through research, education and/or dissemination activities – are working on competitiveness issues and hence accepted as affiliated faculty to the platform.

The platform has just launched four clusters, but not all of them are finally set. The following may, however, be some key groups of interest:

• Competing with operations and production
• Globalization
• Outsourcing and off-shoring
• Partnerships and networking
• National conditions
• Internationalization and cultures

• Competitiveness reading group

Each group will be coordinated by a facilitator and have VIP and PhD members. If you are interested in joining one of the groups – either as a facilitator or a member – please don’t hesitate to contact us.
