Department of International Economics and Management

Department of International Economics & Management (INT) does high quality research in: International Business, Corporate Governance, Emerging Markets, and Asian Studies. We disseminate results to business and society and deliver high quality teaching with focus on these areas.

INT’s goals are:
  • To be in the international frontline in the research fields of:
    • International Business
    • Corporate Governance
    • Emerging Markets
    • Asian Studies
  • To publish our research results in leading international journals and in books published by leading academic publishers.
  • To have an excellent research and teaching environment.
  • To seek synergy between research and teaching.
  • To develop fruitful contacts with the business environment both for getting inputs to our research and for dissemination of our results and in this way to support a high academic level and our ability to transform academic results to knowledge applied in business practices and public policy.
  • To analyze and understand complex economic and social phenomena that span the domains of traditional disciplines and functional specializations to get a deeper understanding of international business, corporate governance, emerging markets and the Asian Business context.
  • To attract a high proportion of private and public external funding for developing our research.
