Inhabitants' attitudes influence immigrants' choice of address

The inhabitants? views on immigrants influence which municipality the immigrants choose to live in, as well as their income level: In municipalities with negative attitudes, immigrants with a higher education have, on average, an income that is 12% lower than in municipalities with more positive attitudes.
This is the conclusion of a report in which Gisela Waisman and Associate Professor Birthe Larsen from Copenhagen Business School have studied immigrants who came to Sweden between 1987 and 1991.

President of Swedish university accused of tyrannical management style, 09.01.2008
The management at the World Maritime University (WMU) in Malmø in Sweden is being scrutinised by a commission headed by Finn Junge-Jensen, President of Copenhagen Business School. The background for the scrutiny is the great dissatisfaction with the President’s management style. The Swedish authorities contribute annually to the school and have now asked for access to the report. Finn Junge-Jensen does not want to comment on the report as it has not yet been published.
