    Nanna Mik-Meyer appointed as vice dean of research

    CBS’ Senior Management has decided to set up a position as vice dean of research with particular focus on external funding. Søren Hvidkjær, Dean of Research, has appointed Professor with special responsibilities (WSR) Nanna Mik-Meyer for this position as of mid-October 2018.

    CEO of a global transport and logistics company goes back to school at CBS

    It’s the start of a new semester, also for Jens Bjørn Andersen, the CEO of DSV, a global transport and logistics company. He has agreed to be the new Executive in Residence at CBS, an initiative inviting executive managers from top Danish companies to spend a year studying at the university.

    Chairman of VELUX, MT Højgaard and VKR Holding is appointed adjunct professor at CBS

    CBS has appointed Søren Bjerre-Nielsen, who has an impressive career and is best known for his long-standing chairmanship of the Danish Nationalbank, as adjunct professor. Today, he is chairman of the large construction company MT Højgaard, the skylight manufacturing company VELUX and VKR Holding, one of Denmark’s largest industrial companies.

    Sustainability: CBS is new member of UN Global Compact

    Copenhagen Business School has committed to support the corporate sustainability initiative, UN Global Compact. The support is also being recognised Thursday 24 May when the Executive Director of the UN initative Lise Kingo will receive the Distinguished Alumni Award during the annual CBS Alumni Day.

    One in three Berlingske Talent 100 is once again a CBS alum

    When the Danish 'Berlingske Business Magasin' announced this year’s 100+1 top talent list on 19 April, one-third of them were once again alumni from CBS. The +1 talent was Denmark's youngest mayor, who Berlingske Business itself had picked as an additional talent in its annual Talent 100 magazine.
