Executive MBA programme does not rest on its' laurels

Listening to feedback from students ensures that the E-MBA programme continues to develop. In 2016, as part of an on-going development the E-MBA programmes were launched by adding two new additional electives. So, EMBA & GEMBA students can now choose between - Rhetoric, Big Data, Change Management and Crisis Management electives.

To continue to push the business agenda an innovative leadership focus has been introduced. The new leadership courses such as Reflexive Leadership will focus on presenting cutting-edge concepts to our students that will allow them to internalise the understanding and apply it immediately in their business climate.

Magnus Larsson comments,"Leadership that makes a difference is first and foremost a practical matter, it is that which happens in the everyday real life of an organisation."

This in reflection of the students’ evolving interests is particularly focused on enhancing the ability to present courses that both impart knowledge, but also applicability to working professionals. For a student to be able to take what they’ve learned and apply it to their job during the week is a phenomenal success of the E-MBA programmes.

Associate Dean, Executive MBA Jesper Rangvid says, “We have strengthened the leadership profile of the programme. In Reflexive Leadership, students will work extensively with their own leadership situations, using combined knowledge from fellow groups and an advisor. The course will enable one to work with their own leadership challenges and possibilities in ways not seen in other leadership courses. We are convinced students will benefit from this new CBS invention and find it highly relevant and applicable in their working environment.”
