This year CBS is increasing its student intake via quota 2. The increase applies to programmes such as European Business, Project Management and Shipping - all programmes with high entry requirements. The percentage of students enrolled via quota 2 is now 20-50 percent for all programmes, and CBS will overall enrol more than 1 in 4 students via quota 2, says President Per Holten-Andersen.

- We find it important that there are more ways into our programmes than just the highest grade point average. We make selections for quota 2 based on the applicant's experience and usually also a motivational application. We have positive experiences with quota 2 and it contributes to the diversity in our programmes, says Per Holten-Andersen.

This year CBS has seen a 12 percent increase in applications via quota 2 where CBS is listed as the 1st priority - a total of 3,066 1st-priority applications. The total number of applications, regardless of priority, is on the same level as last year with 7,663 applications.  Economics and Business Administration has received the most 1st priority applications (540), closely followed by International Business (532). At the top are with the biggest increases in 1st priority applications are Business Administration and Sociology with an increase of 39 percent, Commercial Law 37 percent, Business Administration and Information Systems 34 percent and Business Administration and Psychology 32 percent.

- We are happy to see so many applicants aiming directly for CBS and joining the team with the good programmes and good job prospects. We are doing what we can to get as many qualified applicants as possible into our programmes. However, we are currently unable to increase our total intake due to our funding. We are looking forward to welcoming as many new, talented students as possible to CBS in 2015, says President Per Holten-Andersen.
