March at CBS

A top player in the Danish corporate sector will become Adjunct Professor and one of the world's most quoted professors will visit CBS. March is also the month for CBS Green Week and some important days for people considering a study programme at CBS.

Open Days for bachelor programmes
At the beginning of March you can get answers to any and all questions you may have about the bachelor programmes at CBS. There will be general presentations on CBS and introductions to all programmes.
A new initiative is International Applicant Day; It's a full-day event in connection with Open Days for international students who are considering a bachelor or master programme at CBS.

Alumnus event: Social media across cultural and linguistic borders
Which challenges will companies face when communicating on social media across different cultures and languages? That question will be discussed by Michael Etter, Postdoc, Barbara Dragsted, Associate Professor, and Kasper Kofod,  Social Media Manager at Novo Nordisk. Margrethe Mondahl, Associate Professor at CBS will moderate.

One of the world's most quoted professors visits CBS   
Cass Sunstein, Professor at Harvard, visits CBS with his lecture ’The Theory of Internalities: A New Approach to Environmental Protection (and Many Other Things)’. The event is part of the strategic cooperation between CBS, Cass Sunstein and Harvard Law School which began in 2012. Cass Sunstein has authored and co-authored hundreds of books and articles, and according to the website SSRN he is the most quoted and read law professor in the world.

Green Week 2015
For the first time oikos Copenhagen is in charge of hosting Green Week for CBS. Between 24 and 26 March, you will have the opportunity to participate in presentations and workshops with some of the leading businesses in innovation and sustainability. Among the participating companies are Tesla Motors, Accenture and Statkraft.

Inaugural lecture by Ole Andersen
One of the top players in the Danish corporate sector will become Adjunct Professor at the Center for Corporate Governance in March. Ole Andersen is Chairman of the Board at e.g. Danske Bank, Chr. Hansen and B&O. The appointment is part of the collaboration between CBS and the corporate sector, and Ole Andersen will among other things contribute to the research project ”Dansk Selskabsledelse i Praksis” (Danish Company Management in Practice)
