Tapping Into the Crowd

Friday, September 9, 2016 - 09:30 to 13:00

Taping

A growing number of firms, organizations, and entrepreneurs are using “the crowd” to overcome business challenges. Two challenges have in particular been associated when reaching out to a crowd for solutions and resources. First, the innovation challenge: firms seek new solutions to their R&D activities in the hope that a potential solution is offered through this channel. This is often referred to as crowd-sourcing. Second, the funding challenge: entrepreneurs seek new sources of capital to raise the resources needed for establishing (or growing) their firm based on an identified business (or growth) opportunity. This is often referred to as crowd-funding.

This years policy conference seek to provide an overview, insights, some critical thoughts, and policy implications on the topic of crowd based models of innovation/funding.

Entrepreneurship BiS platform Policy Conference will offer insights, examples, and a debate and state of the art considerations on what it means to work with the crowd, what can be expected and what policies that needs to be instated for securing the best possible conditions for establishing a productive relationship to an entrepreneurial crowd.

This event is hosted in collaboration with Danish Crowdsourcing, Dansk Crowdfunding Forening & Dansk Iværksætter Forening.
