The SMC concentration focuses on managerial frameworks, approaches and capabilities for initiating and implementing entrepreneurial strategies that deal with companies’ future value propositions and business models, customer relationships and long-term performance development.

You study corporate entrepreneurship from the outset that market knowledge, co-creation with end-users and creative processes are as important for product/ service and brand innovation as is a profound understanding of a company’s business model and its potential dynamics.
You will develop skills in various research methods for identifying new business opportunities, as well as new evolutionary approaches and tools to create new market opportunities.
You will also learn about how to lead and manage marketrelated entrepreneurial initiatives and processes at different organisational levels – considering the interplay between strategy, marketing and innovation.
Career Opportunities
You will develop competences in managing and leading innovation processes at different decision levels related to a company’s market offerings. Job titles could likely be: Product or Brand Innovation Manager, Business Development Manager, or Project Leader in a strategy or design consultancy firm.
