MSocSc in Management of Creative Business Processes

The overall aim of the CBP programme is to qualify bachelors from a range of disciplines to understand creative business processes and take up positions as managers working with creative business processes. You will develop tools specifically suited to finding a balance between nurturing creativity and the requirements of running a successful business.

Knowledge beyond Standard
There are great opportunities for working with creative business processes, both in Denmark and globally, as creative activities are experiencing rapid growth and a steadily increasing part of the creative activities take place in global networks. CBP develops your ability to manage a firm’s creative processes and to integrate creative input into commercially feasible products or services. These changes require knowledge and skills beyond what is covered by standard management programmes.
CBP works together with creative firms around the world to ensure high quality and a leading edge content of our courses. Industry involvement includes, among others, Egmont, Danish Broadcasting Corporation, IFPI Denmark, Italian fashion firms and Indian animation and Bollywood firms. The programme benefits from research taking place at CBS centre “imagine.. Creative Industries Research”.
CBP has a global outlook and aims at a high ratio of international students. CBP consists of a combination of lectures, cases, firm visits and group work, where students with different skills work together to solve real-life business problems and present them to managers.
Core Skills
CBP provides you with:
• an understanding of the emergence of new creative businesses and new forms of business and customer relations
• theoretically based skills to analyse creative industries and creative business processes
• skills in theoretically based analysis of specific markets regarding both supply and demand
• systematic development of ideas for radical breakthrough product concept.
 
Get a Double Degree
 
CBS and Università Bocconi, Milan, Italy have signed a Double Degree agreement exclusively for the CBP programme. This means that if you choose the CBP programme, you will have the possibility of studying at Bocconi for one year after having completed your first year of studies at CBS.
