Elite Master's Programmes
Only 12 master’s programmes in Denmark have been accredited as elite programmes. CBS offers one of them.
These programmes are two year full-time master’s programmes taught in English, but the elite label ensures that they are on level with the best programmes in the world. From an academic perspective, the programmes are more challenging and demanding than regular master’s programmes. Therefore only the most qualified Danish and foreign bachelors within the business economics field are eligible for admission. The annual intake is only 25 students. Selection among qualified applicants is typically based on a bachelor GPA at the high end of the grading scale, a motivational essay and a personal interview.
Two elite modules
Besides the Elite Master's Programme, CBS offers two intense and challenging courses, the elite modules, which only accept a maximum of 25 students on each course and give you the possibility of obtaining both analytical and practical skills. The two modules are electives that can be applied for during the 3rd semester of your graduate programme, and enrolment is based on individual assessmens of the applications.
- The IT-based modeling of supply chains and implementation
elite module combines theory and practice of Logistics/OM/SCM and the IT systems at an advanced theoretical and applied level and will give a deep insight into specific problem areas such as IT, inter-organizational business processes and business process redesign.
- The Internship in International Entrepreneurship
elite course facilitates students’ further development of analytical, theoretical, presentational and teamwork skills and enhances skills to perform in a multi-cultural setting in real organizations.
