Elite Education

Elite Master's Programmes
Only 12 master’s programmes in Denmark have been accredited as elite programmes. Since 2009 CBS has offered one elite programme – with a limited annual enrolment of 25 students:
Elite programmes are two-year full-time programmes taught in English, recognised to be on par with the best in the world.
From an academic perspective, the programmes are more challenging and demanding than regular master’s programmes.
Therefore, to be eligible for admission, you need to be at the top of your class. Selection is typically based on a strong undergraduate GPA.
Entrenched in the Most Up-to-date Research
The programmes are based on the current research. The curricular standards measure up to equivalent programmes around the world. These standards are constantly being improved, for instance through collaboration with internationally acknow ledged researchers at other leading universities.
You are taught primarily by fulltime employed academic staff, but also special guest lecturers. The courses are based on the most upto- date research within the particular academic fields, allowing you to be closely connected with the research environments.
Elite courses
CBS currently offers two elite courses which aim to be more challenging in terms of higher academic objectives and learning effects. Each course is limited to 25 students.

  • Internship in International Entrepreneurship
Students work part-time as interns in selected high technology startup companies, where they complete a mini-consultancy report on a business problem of strategic importance. The internship is accompanied  by a series of lectures and seminars.

Elite diploma
Upon graduation, you receive a specialised diploma that states that you completed an elite master’s programme.
