Career prospects

The future for IB students is bright. Increasing globalisation creates a greater demand for internationally-oriented business students.

The IB programme is renown for its strict entry requirements, so employers and recruiters – especially in Denmark – are aware of the highly-skilled and ambitious students found among future IB graduates. The programme’s intensive quarter structure gives its students a head start in understanding, what real business settings are actually like.

Diverse projects

Project work provides valuable experience in working in culturally-diverse groups. The continuous updating of the programme’s syllabus, in response to changes in the global environment and new research, ensures that the students are aware of the latest trends and efficient ways of conducting their work.
Whether your plan is to use the IB programme as a foundation for further education or to start forming your career immediately after completing your BSc. degree, the opportunities are numerous. Out of all bachelor programmes at CBS, the IB programme has the highest percentage of graduating students moving directly to professional employment.

Range of professions

Former IB students are currently employed within a wide range of professions such as international investment banking, supply chain management, intercultural communication, sales and marketing, consulting within management, strategy, accounting, operations and organisation. The IB programme can lead you to the most imaginable career opportunities.
