BSc in Business Administration and Service Management
In the BSc in Business Administration and Service Management you will combine business economic disciplines with:
• The tourism and hospitality industry
• Cultural institutions and attractions
• Leisure and sports organisations
• The travel and transport industry.
You will develop knowledge, skills and understanding of the strategic and economic potential of businesses, institutions and organisations within the four areas on which the programme concentrates.
The disciplines are combined by applying established economic and business financial models to the analysis of various business issues. Economic theory and methods are introduced through the study of macroeconomics and managerial economics. Business theory is covered in a broad range of accounting, management and organisational studies courses.
In addition to the core programme and specialised courses within the service management field, you can also register for various electives offered by CBS or other universities. To help you stay focused, the programme is structured in half-semester ‘quarters’, which means that you will take only two courses at a time, with a total of four courses per semester.
You will be assessed through either 4 hour written exams or project examinations, where students work together in groups to analyse a case, write a report and defend the project at individual oral examinations.
