The primary objective of my research is to achieve a better understanding of information systems development in practice. Appreciating ISD less than a technical, but as a social work process performed within organisational structures and with organisational and managerial challenges, I focus on ISD and the utilisation of development methods as knowledge intensive, innovative activities in which continuous process improvement takes place based on learning from daily practice.

Primary research areas

  • System Development
  • Knowledge Management in the IT Industry
  • Adoption and Diffusion of IT
  • Software Process Improvement
  • Software Quality Management
  • Innovation
  • IT-related Knowledge Management
  • Organizational Theory
