Public transport in Copenhagen is safe and reliable. Trains, metro and buses run frequently and efficiently.
Train to CBS - if you arrive by flight
Tickets and travel cards are available from the DSB ticket office in the railway station at the airport terminal 3. If you travel several people together we recommend travel cards.
- 3-zone ticket: DKK 27.00 (3,6 Euro)
- 3-zone travel card (yellow) 10-trips: DKK 155.00 = 21 Euro)
The train departs from terminal 3, platform 2:
- Direction: København H, Østerport or Helsingør
- Get off the train at Nørreport (two stops past Central Copenhagen Station) and follow the signs for the Metro (M)
- Metro: Direction Vanløse (M1 and M2) and get off the metro at either Frederiksberg (close to CBS main building) or Solbjerg (CBS Kilen campus)
Approx. travel time: 30 minutes.
Taxi to CBS from Copenhagen Airports
Fares include a service charge, so tips are not expected. Most taxis accept major credit cards. Should you wish to pay with a credit card, let the driver know before beginning the trip. On request, taxi drivers will provide you with a computerised receipt for the fare.
You will find taxis just outside terminal 3.

Train to CBS - if you arrive by train at Copenhagen Central Station (København H)
- Direction: Any S-train in northern direction, (track 9 and 10)
- Get off the train at Nørreport (the second stop) and follow the signs for the Metro (M)
- Metro: Direction Vanløse (M1 and M2) and get off the metro at either Frederiksberg (close to CBS main building) or Solbjerg (CBS Kilen campus)

Public transportation while you are here
2-zone 10-trip cards (blue) are valid within all of central Copenhagen and Frederiksberg. They are sold on the stations and in most kiosks (DKK 110.00 or 16 Euro).
10-trip cards are valid on buses, trains, metro and harbour busses and you can transfer freely as many times as you want within one hour per trip.
