Organisation

The organisers of the 10th Annual EBHA Conference are:

Centre for Business History, CBS
The Centre for Business History was established in 1999 and is now a research and teaching unit at the Department of Management, Politics and Philosophy at Copenhagen Business School. There are about a dozen historians at the centre working on a wide variety of topics in business and economic history. Our main focus is on 20th century Danish companies and industries in an international setting as well as theories of history with respect to business history.
Centre for Business History, University of Aarhus
The Centre for Business History was established in 2003 by the University of Aarhus and the Danish National Business Archives. The centre carries out research, supervision and education in Danish business history since 1850 in an international comparative perspective. Ongoing work: the food industry since 1950. Director: Jørgen Fink. Academic staff: 3 persons.
Centre for Industrial and Business History, University of Southern Denmark
The Centre for Industrial and Business History was established in 2005 in collaboration between the Department for History at the University of Southern Denmark and the Industrial Museum, Horsens. With an emphasis on our industrial past from around 1800 the activities of the Centre are basic research into business history, commissioned history for companies and organisations, and communication with a wider audience through different media.

Academic Committee
The Academic Committee is responsible for considering abstracts and panel proposals and arranging the conference programme.
