About the database

Via the full text archive, OpenArchive@CBS, the CBS Library offers the public convenient access to CBS research. The archive permits you to search and download CBS research publications.
OpenArchive@CBS reflects various aspects of academic research at CBS. Currently, the database contains working papers (about 1.450) and PhD theses (about 40), while conference proceedings and pre- and post prints of scholarly journal articles are pending inclusion.
Compilation of OpenArchive@CBS
The CBS Library is responsible for maintaining and updating OpenArchive@CBS as an institutional repository for published CBS research. The full text archive was launched in 2003 and in the summer of 2009 the system platform migrated to DSpace.
Dissemination of content
The contents of OpenArchive@CBS are displayed via the Knowledge Portal, where items are linked to records in the research database Research@CBS. These data are disseminated to various international working paper repositories such as S-WOPEC, S-WOPA and REPEC.

Open Access at CBS
In April 2008 CBS signed the Berlin Declaration on Open Access. By taking this step, CBS urges researchers at CBS to file their work in open access full text archives. OpenArchive@CBS supports this policy and CBS’ efforts to promote Open Access.
