Management of Self-Management
Self-management is a widespread phenomenon today.
Self-management entails that employees manage their thoughts, ideas, emotions and actions in ways that contribute to the realisation and development of the employee while simultaneously creating value for the company or organization.
In public organisations and private companies self-management has become the prerequisite for the management of employees. Consequently, it is vital to know the prevailing conditions of self-management. In the absence of such knowledge, initiatives tend to fail or engender unintended consequences.
The research programme Management of Self-Management is a 3-year research programme that involves eight researchers.
The research programme is co-funded by VELUX FONDEN.
