Research interests are financial accounting and auditing with emphasis on both empirical methods and analytical models. Areas of research are the principal determinants of financial accounting quality and audit market effectiveness as well as economic consequences. In particular, the implications of auditor liability caps on audit quality, audit market competition, and equity valuation.
