The Centre for the Study of Europe constitutes the organisational framework for the research is carried out in connection with the study programmes in European Studies (BA and MA levels), which since the year 2000 have been offered in combination with language studies at the BA and MA level.

A number of researchers from the Department of International Culture and Communication Studies are attached to the Centre. Cooperation also takes place with researchers across CBS and in the Centre's international networks. Two Adjunct Professors are attached to the Centre.
