Creative Ontologies - Social Innovation between Art and Business
The objective of the project is to investigate strategies for developing innovation processes. The project concerns a redefinition of economic growth within social processes, focusing on innovation management and art. The research on social innovation as a practice between art and business will be conducted as a comparative case study, focusing on practices that cut across the boundaries between those of science, humanities and art. The empirical study is an ethnographic investigation of three creative practices in which aesthetic objects emerge as new ontological forms. The three practices are carried out within the fields of experimental cinema, non-standard design and architecture and that of conceptual art. This investigation points at changes in the relation between art and economic growth.
