Assistant professor from The Department of Finance receives Education Prize
Assistant professor Mads Stenbo Nielsen received the CBS Education Prize 2011 at a ceremony on April 14.
The prize is awarded to permanent staff at CBS for extraordinary contributions to teaching through courses which are innovative in their organizational approach, organization and realization.

Cathrine Jessen is awarded a post doc stipend in tough competition
The Danish Council for Independent Research in Social Sciences has announced the results of its spring 2010 postdoc stipend awards. Among 80 applications, the council selected only 11 projects, and Cathrine Jessen was the only CBS researcher awarded a stipend in this round. Cathrine’s project has the title ‘Estimation and implementation of credit risk models’, and the amount of support is 1.650.000 DKK.

A.T. Kearney prisen til gennemsnit på 11,3
Den 6. november 2009 fik stud.merc. FSM Thomas Rüdiger Smith overrakt A.T. Kearney prisen på 10.000 kr. som den studerende, der havde højest karaktergennemsnit efter 1. år på studiet. Thomas havde et gennemsnit fra 1. år på 11,3 og skal i det kommende halvår studere på Bocconi University i Milano, bl.a. også for at opnå en CEMS kandidatgrad. Prisen overrækkes af partner Lars Eismark, A.T. Kearney.
