International Research Focus and Strong Relations to the Business Community and Society

In recent years the Department of Marketing has focused on increasing the number of publications in recognised, international journals and proceedings, and at the same time de-emphasising e.g. working papers and Nordic publications.
As a result, articles in foreign languages represent an increasing part of the department's constant production of approx. 100 publications a year. In 2008 the institute had 18 articles in peer-reviewed international journals. Among the best ranked journals in 2008 are Journal of Business Research, Journal of Strategic Marketing, Supply Chain Management and Journal of Environmental Management.
In addition to a deliberate international focus, the Department of Marketing also wants to increase its relations with the business community and society. This effort is reflected in arrangements and externally financed projects in the region of DKK 6.4 million in 2008.
