Danish Crash Course - August 16-20, 2010

Beginning Danish for International Exchange Students at CBS (NO ECTS credits!)
For those who want to gain just a little more from their stay in Denmark, CBS is offering a voluntary beginning level course in Danish. This five-day intensive course consists of four lessons of instruction per day.
Registration for this course is available on a first come, first served basis. (Please note that this course is not intended for native speakers of other Scandinavian languages. If there is sufficient demand for a Danish course for Scandinavians, one will be arranged.)
Course objective: To enhance the period of study for exchange students at CBS with an insight into Danish society - by providing a working basic knowledge of Danish, including a general introduction to common vocabulary, grammar, and syntax. Emphasis will be placed on precise pronunciation. Cultural aspects will also be included. Attendance and participation are vital to success in this course. Certificates of Participation will be awarded for full attendance and participation in the course.
The course fee includes tuition, course book, and audio files.

E-mail: Please make certain to enter your CBS e-mail address. (If you have not received your CBS e-mail yet, you may use your personal e-mail address). Your CBS e-mail will be included in the Registration Package that you receive from CBS after we have received your nomination from your home university.
If you are unable to pay online by credit card, or if your tuition fee is paid by your home university, please contact The Language Center at dcc.lc@cbs.dk for payment instructions.
Terms of payment and refund:
  • Payments made after June 20 are subject to an additional DKK 100.00 late fee.
  • On-site registration is on a first come, first served basis ONLY - space permitting. In addition to the DKK 100.00 late fee, an additional service charge of DKK 125.00 will be added to payments made upon arrival.
  • Payment must be received prior to the start of the course in order to confirm placement on the course. If payment cannot be made by the registration deadline, contact The Language Center at dcc.lc@cbs.dk.
  • Full tuition refunds will be issued for cancellations received on e-mail dcc.lc@cbs.dk by July 1, 2010.
    No tuition refund will be issued for cancellations received after this date!
  • Participation in the Evening Activities is NOT included in the price above. Please send an e-mail to crashcourse.intoff@cbs.dk if you wish to receive information regarding the Evening Activities.
