cbsCSR engages with a large network of partners from academic institutions, the public sector, civil organisations and private businesses.
In order to optimise the Centre's CSR research efforts and to make the public discussion of CSR as informed as possible, we think it is important to include partners from all sectors and industries. Therefore, cbsCSR is always looking for new and innovative ways to engage in partnerships with organisations and individuals which are also interested in the topic of CSR.

The cbsCSR was started in 2002 as the Centre for Corporate Values and Responsibility (CVR). In 2007 it changed its name to cbsCSR. The Centre was started because of dedicated researchers such as Peter Pruzan and Mette Morsing who worked hard to ensure the start-up of the centre back in 2002. This work is continuous and is now shared among the many top researchers who are part of cbsCSR.
The Importance of Partners
The work with external partners is at high priority in cbsCSR. Without our partners our research would not be possible and without our partners the Centre itself might not exists. A perfect example of this importance is the NCCR or Nordic Centre for Corporate Responsibility, which was started as a consequence of a strong and close partnership with Novo Nordisk. In 2006 Chairman Mads Øvlisen donated a research grant to start-up the NCCR, the purpose; to explore The Nordic Agenda on Corporate Social Responsibility. The Centr'es founding partners are: Copenhagen Business School, BI Norwegian School of Management, Stockholm School of Economics, Aalto School of Economics and Reykjavik University. The Centre has since then taken part in several research projects such as
CSR-driven Innovation
and hosting the
NCCR symposium for 2010
.
