My teaching and research interests primarily focus on the areas of Corporate Communication/LSP and Oral Communication on the graduate and post-graduate programmes at the Faculty of Languages, Communication and Culture of CBS. My teaching primarily centres on the courses "Intercultural Communication " and "The Organisation in an Intercultural Context" on the MA programme. My research activities centre around Oral Communication in the project "FOCAL" - Free Oral Communication in Adult Learners - and in English as a lingua franca.
In addition, I serve as programme director for these areas at MA level, just as I participate in both in-house and international projects. My colleagues at the department have appointed me their health and safety representative, and I also serve on the CBS Health and Safety Committee; I furthermore serve as the shop steward for my academic colleagues at the Department of English.
