LSP, terminology and knowledge engineering, translation and interpreting, language technology, e-learning and Computer Assisted Interpreter Training (CAIT).
Primary research areas
- Cross-border police communication:IntelliGet. The project deals with multilingual communication in the domain of international law enforecment and addresses the terminology and knowledge engineering requirements of law enforcement agencies, security and intelligence services. the overall objective of the project is to develop a methodology for improving workflows in multilinual communication and to propose resource profiles to support specified user groups engaged in cross-boder communication. IntelliGET aims to establish a method for collection, processing, storage, maintenance and distribution to specified police user groups and translators of relevant terminological data and related knowledge componenets. User group: Europol (In collaboration with Henrik Selsøe Sørensen and Barbara Dragsted)
