Linguapax Award to Dr Robert Phillipson
The Jury of the 2010 Linguapax Award has decided to grant the prize to DR. ROBERT PHILLIPSON
the Linguapax Award is granted every year to acknowledge the
outstanding work of linguists, researchers and activists in the active preservation of linguistic diversity
in terms of the promotion of peace.
The official announcement will take place on 21 February, International Mother Language Day, and
the prize will be awarded during a public event to be held on 21 May, World Day for Cultural Diversity
for Dialogue and Development, in Barcelona.

DR2-serie sætter fokus på det danske sprog
Er dialekterne stendøde? Hvordan taler unge danskere i dag? Og har det danske sprog en fremtid? Ny DR2-serie giver danskerne mulighed for at fordybe sig i nationalsproget.
Serien er skabt i forbindelse med Kulturministeriets sprogkampagne ’Gang i sproget’ og er blevet til i et samarbejde mellem DR, Dansk Sprognævn, Dansklærerforeningen og Det Danske Sprog- og Litteraturselskab.
