Partners

Collaboration with other research institutions
It is in the nature of organizational research to be an international area of expertise – even when studied in a Danish context.
The same is true for the Department of Organization. Therefore, the department prioritizes having interesting, international collaborative partners.
For instance, we are committed to formal collaborations such as:
  • Scancor: The Scandinavian Consortium for Organizational Research at Stanford University
  • Nohr.net
  • Cranet: The Cranfield Network on Comparative Human Resource Management
  • CLIPS
Furthermore, the department collaborate with a wide variety of Danish and foreign research institutions such as the Technical University of Denmark, Roskilde University, University of Alberta, Harvard University, MINES ParisTech, Uppsala University and University of Bergen.
The department is very focused on giving its researchers experience with other research institutions and on attracting guests from other research institutions.

Cooperation with businesses and organizations
The cooperation with private businesses, public organizations and other external parties is vital to a department that focuses its research and teaching on analysing practice.
This collaboration is expressed in the department's numerous research projects, including PhD programmes that are associated with:
  • The Danish National Agency for Enterprise and Construction
  • The Danish Tax and Customs Administration (SKAT)
  • Copenhagen University Hospital
  • Deloitte
  • Brdr. Hartmann

Nanna Mik-Meyer

"It is very rewarding to work with a political organization such as the Danish National Directorate of Labour. Research is brought into a specific context in which it can truly make a difference."
Nanna Mik-Meyer

The department administers the CBS master's programmes in human resource management. They all share the common trait that they include internships to a certain extent. That gives the students and the department valuable contacts in the corporate sector.
Learn more about the internships on the Human Resource Management concentrations by clicking on the individual concentrations (on the Degree Programmes tab).
If you want to know more about how to become a collaborative partner with the Department of Organization researchers, please contact Head of Secretariat Lene Lillebro.
