Design, architecture and branding are increasingly being used in the staging of landscapes and places. The production and consumption of spaces are central to my research, with a particular focus on experience spaces in the cultural economy. This has involved projects on tourism, urban planning, architecture and now Roskilde Festival.
I am doing my ph.d. thesis on Roskilde Festival analyzing the processes of space making from primarily a production perspective; looking at the intersections between do-it-yourself culture, professionalism, activism and commercialism in a field connoted with rock and rebellion.
