My research interests are as follows:
1) British politics and society in a comparative, primarily European perspective. My main interest in this field focuses on conditions and determining factors for the political process under the influence of globalisation and regionalisation processes which change the role of the nation-state.
2) Social cohesion in post-moderne, multicultural European societies
3) Climate change politics with a focus on climate change communication, governance and social construction of climate change.
