Research Profile

The vision of IKK
It is the aim of IKK to be internationally recognised for its interdisciplinary research in socio-cultural, linguistic, and communication issues emerging from international cooperation. Through this work IKK will contribute to a reduction of the complexity encountered in globalisation as perceived by internationally oriented people, companies, and organisations.
The mission of IKK
IKK researches international and intercultural relations between people, organisations and systems. IKK produces research at the highest international level within the business-humanities and social sciences. The research, which derives empirical data from actual problems and challenges emerging from international collaboration, is expressed through a cross-disciplinary approach adapted to the actual problems. The humanistic and social science theories in tandem produce an analysis of economic, legal, social, linguistic, communicative, and cognitive issues.
IKK focuses on the synergy between research and teaching producing reflective and independent candidates through a practical interdisciplinary approach.
