Currently I am a Researcher at the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology of the University of Latvia. I am working on PhD thesis on the subject related to the issues of public sector ethics and corruption.
The subject of the thesis is linked to my interest in comparative historical research on formation and development of state institutions in Europe. I have been taking part in research projects dealing with problems of formation of new national identity in the Baltic countries, relations between ethnic groups and policy of national integration.
For several years I worked in a national anti-corruption agency of Latvia in the field of prevention of corruption.
