I am interested in how digitalization as an institution within the public administration transforms and develops and what the consequences of these processes are to the services provided by these administrations. I study this by exploring how the phenomenon “open standards for software” enters and settles within the administrations of local governments, and how this affects both the technical, organizational and institutional environment.
