My research focuses on competition, European competition regulation and comparative and global political economy. My main theoretical project is the development of a critical political economy perspective on regulatory change in delineated issue areas.In a recently published book titled The Politics of European Competition Regulation (co-authored with A. Wigger) this perspective is put to work in a study of the historical transformation of capitalism and competition regulation in Europe.
